On behalf of the ISCRAM 2024 Conference Committee, we take great pleasure in inviting you to submit a proposal for Posters & Demonstrations<\/strong> application. We would like to welcome you to showcase your work to an international and focused group of ISCRAM researchers and practitioners while enjoying the city of M\u00fcnster!<\/p>\r\n\r\n

The poster and demonstration-sessions will be co-chaired by Dr. Sandra Wissing*, Dr. Monika Rode, & Prof. Dr. Apoorva Chauhan<\/strong>. If you have any questions, please refer to the corresponding chair. <\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n

WHAT & HOW TO SUBMIT?<\/h4>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Poster authors and demonstrators are invited to submit proposals for posters or demonstrations using the following template:\r\n<\/i> Template (Word)<\/strong><\/a>. The submissions must be formatted according to the template and contain a short abstract (max. 500 words), describing the content of the poster\/demonstration as well as information about the presenting author or demonstrator. It should also include information on your past experience regarding crisis response and management.\r\n\r\nSubmissions within the extended deadline need to be done in a PDF format via email: <\/i> Submission via email<\/strong><\/a>.\r\n\r\nAll submissions will be reviewed by the track chairs, who will notify authors\/demonstrators on whether they are accepted to present at the ISCRAM 2024 conference. Please, note that it is not necessary to submit the complete poster\/demonstration. All authors\/demonstrators accepted for the conference will be contacted with further information on display procedures and upload deadlines.\r\n<\/p>\r\n\r\n

TOPICS OF INTEREST<\/h4>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

ISCRAM 2024 takes a process-centric view on crisis management and emphasizes a holistic and integrated process view of crisis management to overcome isolated considerations of crisis management lifecycle phases (see Conference Vision & Topic<\/strong><\/a>). We would like to carry forward the conference\u2019s vision of a \u201cpracademic\u201d<\/em> approach and come together in a poster & demonstration session to showcase practitioners\u2019 and academic work, exchange ideas and find new ways for future collaboration.\r\nBy demonstration, we mean the demonstration of instruments, procedures, training scenarios or tools. The demonstration serves to inform the participants by showing those without actually applying them in the form of tutorials etc. (which is part of the Workshops & Tutorials).\r\n<\/p>\r\n\r\n

In the light of this year\u2019s theme \u201cEmbracing the Crisis Management Lifecycle\u201d<\/em>, posters and demos that are associated with the following topics (in alphabetical order) are particularly welcome:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
