However, the information on the calls will stay available online so you can look it up in case you need it.<\/strong>\n<\/div>\n<p>Following the ISCRAM tradition, the Doctoral Colloquium will take place prior to the main conference on Sunday May 26th, 2024 in the Castle in the city center of M\u00fcnster. The colloquium is dedicated to doctoral students seeking careers in public, private and academic organizations with research interests in crisis management with an emphasis on information systems.\n<\/p>\n<p>The colloquium will be co-chaired by Professors <strong>Mark P. Haselkorn<\/strong>, University of Washington, <strong>Melanie Reuter-Oppermann<\/strong>, University of Twente, and <strong>Stefan Klein<\/strong>, University of M\u00fcnster. In addition, experienced ISCRAM researchers will join the colloquium as research mentors. Their names will be posted closer to the time of the colloquium. Each student will be assigned a mentor who will review and offer constructive feedback on their research. An important aspect of the colloquium will be to provide opportunities for peer-to-peer review, feedback, and mentoring in an effort to share knowledge and build a community of scholars. Our goal is to help students further develop their research designs, results, and analyses such that they can produce high-quality research, publications, and theses.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">COLLOQUIUM APPLICATION<\/h4>\n<p><strong>Eligibility<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The colloquium aims to assist PhD candidates doing research in the field of INFORMATION SYSTEMS FOR CRISIS RESPONSE AND MANAGEMENT and to facilitate networking in the ISCRAM community. Therefore, we ask all applicants to submit a bio sketch and describe how their research fits into the ISCRAM field.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cost<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The participation in the ISCRAM Doctoral Colloquium is free, including lunch and refreshments. However, participants in the Doctoral Colloquium must register for the main conference (a student rate is available).<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Candidates should submit a single PDF \ufb01le by <strong>March 15th<\/strong>, 2024 to the Doctoral Colloquium chairs <strong><a href=\"mailto:iscram2024@ercis.org\"><i class=\"fas fa-paper-plane\"><\/i> iscram2024@ercis.org<\/a><\/strong>. The \ufb01le should include the following:\n<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>A <strong>bio sketch<\/strong> (short CV), no more than one page, as a PDF \ufb01le.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Administrative Information<\/strong>\n<ol type=\"a\">\n<li>Your name,<\/li>\n<li>Advisor(s) name(s),<\/li>\n<li>Your affiliation (the university where you are conducting your doctoral work),<\/li>\n<li>Current year\/ status of doctoral study and projected completion date.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Motivation letter<\/strong>: Tell us why you would like to be part of a gathering of the future leaders of crisis management research, what you would like to accomplish there, and what your long-term goals are.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><\/p>\n<div class=\"highlight-row\">\n<div class=\"hightlight-column\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/iscram2024.ercis.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/iscram2024_conference_wipeorcorepapertemplate.docx\"><i class=\"fas fa-download\"><\/i> TEMPLATE<\/a><\/strong><\/div>\n<div class=\"hightlight-column\"><strong><a href=\"mailto:iscram2024@ercis.org\"><i class=\"fas fa-paper-plane\"><\/i> SUBMISSION VIA EMAIL<\/a><\/strong><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<hr \/>\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">TIMELINE AND EXPECTATIONS<\/h4>\n<p>Those accepted for the colloquium will be noti\ufb01ed by March 15th, 2024.
